Kiran Rao has proved that she is indeed perfect wife of B-town’s Mr.Perfectionist - being counted among the most exceptional and intelligent set of producers.

Post the success of the film ‘Ship Of Theseus’, Kiran Rao is constantly being approached and inundated by calls from indie film makers.

It is a known fact that Indie films are most difficult to market and distribute to correct audience. Kiran Rao has shown a different kind of penchant in promotions of ‘Ship of Theseus’.

Most Indie filmmakers have seen the kind of value Kiran has bought to the film. She has not only promoted it well she has made sure that the film is talked about in correct circles.

There is awareness amongst the audience despite of the film having no big stars. This is precisely why small time filmmakers have started to approach Kiran hoping that she would be able to help them in similar manner.

It can be noted that ‘Ship of Theseus’ has done exceptional business given the budget and size of film - its true success story as far as platform releases are concerned.

However Kiran is not sure she wants to do this on a regular basis as this takes away a lot of time and effort.

When asked Kiran said, "I don't want to promote films and its not an ambition of my life as such. But if a lovely film like Ship of Theseus comes to me, I would want the audiences to know about it and watch it. As far as other films are concerned let's see."
