Gautam Menon's next project is 'Dhruva Natchathiram', which is said to be the first film of a series that will follow. Actor Suriya plays the lead role in the film, and Simran plays his mother. Actor Parthiban is also part of the cast crew. The film is noted for his uniqueness that it has roped in a number of top actors in the industry. Having said that, the news on who the heroine will be, is still ambiguous.

We heard that the competition is running between Trisha and Amala Paul. While it was earlier buzzed that Trisha has clinched the deal, we now hear that she does not have dates on her call sheet and might not be taking this up. And so, Amala Paul is the front runner now, and the project will prove to be a big ticket for her, if she agrees to take it up. An official confirmation is eagerly awaited.
