Brahmanandam has honoured comedian Ali, for receiving the doctorate. The event has been done at Brahmanandam's residence and it was attended by some famous film personalities.

Brahmanandam says," I am very happy that Ali has received the honorable doctorate. There are so many comedians in the industry, who are eligible for the doctorate. I consider Ali as my brother and I hope he receives more and more awards like this".

Ali says, " Being honored by our senior Brahmanandam gives me more joy than receiving the doctorate. Brahmanandam said that I am the next to receive the doctorate, when he received it. I think the goddesses have blessed it with me by hearing his words".

Sunil, Krishna Bhagavan, Posani Krishna Murali, Srinivasa Reddy, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Brahmaji etc have attended this event.
