This year marks Sonam’s third visit to Cannes. Delighted as well as excited to be part of the event, the young Masakali has been spending a lot of time researching and putting together these looks.

Besides, Sonam who is the brand ambassador of a esteem brand company would be seen visiting and celebrating ‘100 years of Indian Cinema’ at the Cannes.

Remarked the actress, "I am absolutely delighted to be invited to Cannes. The event celebrates all the aspects of international cinema at one grand platform. This is the first time I will be part of the opening ceremony and I am extremely excited! Cannes is celebrating Indian Cinema this year and I have never been more proud to be a part of this creative industry. I hope that the Bollywood inspired makeup looks we don this year at Cannes will make global style statements."

According to our sources, Sonam will be visiting Cannes on the 15th and 16th of May. She will be present at the opening ceremony of Festival de Cannes on 15th May and walk the red carpet on the 16th as well.

Incidentally, most of the Indian contingent is reaching Cannes on 17th for various screenings and red carpets.
