Since its release on 26th April, ‘Aashiqui 2’ has been getting positive response, especially for the performance by the lead cast - Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor.

Recently the makers of the film treated the entire cast and crew with a party for the film’s success. Back home, the hero of the film Aditya is enjoying his new found star status and his family members left no stones unturned to make this occasion special.

Aditya’s celebrity bhabhi (sister in law) Vidya Balan came forward and threw a family party for success of his ‘Aashiqui 2’. Our birdies found out that Vidya arranged a small family get together at her house as an honour of Aashiqui 2's success and invited Aditya. And guess what? The actress specially made Rajma Chawal at home, as it is Aditya's all time favourite food.

Said our birdies, " Aditya loves Rajma Chawal.and he gorged on it while having a gala time . It was a very thoughtful gesture from Vidya." They mainly spoke about films and the industry in general all throughout. Vidya was high on praise about Aditya’s performance on ‘Aashiqi 2’ and was discussing the industry reaction she has been receiving on him then on.

Confirmed Aditya, "It was a small celebration at home which was a very sweet surprise that came in.. We all had a great time."
