'Gaayam-2' fame Sri Prawin is directing and producing a film under Sri Karunalayam productions banner, which is titled as 'Kaalicharan'. Krishna Chaithanya plays the lead role and Chandini is the female lead in this film.The film is based on real incidents that happened in Mahabub Nagar in 1980.

The trailer launch of the film has been done at Prasad Labs on Monday.

Dil Raju, who has attended as the chief guest, said, " Sri Prawin is a director with a lot of passion towards films. These kind of films come rarely in Telugu. The director has been 100% successful in showing the situations in 1980 through a film. I hope this film will become a big success".

The hero of the film, Krishna Chaithanya, said, "You can imagine how the movie is going to be by watching the trailer. The director has made the movie excellently. I have worked hard for 10 months to show a rough look for this film. We are confident that the audiences will receive the movie well".

The director and producer said, " I thank Dil Raju sir for coming here to launch the trailer. We have made the movie based on a real incident that happened in Mahabub Nagar in 1980. The film is being made in Telugu and Tamil at one time. We have used the name 'Yerra Satyam' in this movie taking the permission of his family members. We are happy that Dil Raju sir is distributing this film in Telugu. Anuraga Kashyap is releasing this film in Hindi and Sashi Kumar in Tamil. We are planning to release the movie soon completing the censor work".

Pankaj Kesari, Kavitha Srinivasan, Nagineedu, Rao Ramesh etc are the other cast.
