Veteran director, Singeetham Srinivasarao has been directing an experimental film titled 'Welcome Obama'.

Famous actress Rohini has been the assistant writer of this film.The film is being produced by Bharathi Krishna and produced by Smt. Bharathi under Sandalwood media banner.

The shooting of the film is currently going on at Padmalaya studios.

Singeetham says, " I have had made many experimental films in my career. But this is a very special film for me.Though the producers are new to industry, they are not compromising any bit regarding budget. Rohini and Camera work by Dharshan are very good. The film may be supposed to be a political drama by seeing the title. But this film has no political elements in it. We will reveal the hidden meaning in the title soon. This is a very different subject with entertainment as the main theme. We have shot the key scenes at Park Hotel recently and will shoot a song in a shopping mall. We will start promoting the film from the next month and will release the movie soon".

Producer Bharathi krishna said, " Singeetham sir is working like a 24 year old young man at the age of 81. We are thankful to him for making a 100 days film with us".

Rohini said, " I have acted in Singeetham sir's direction and I am very happy at working with him in the direction department".

Rachel (U.K.), Urmila, Sanjeev, Niranjani etc are the cast of this film. Ananth Sriram, Bhuvanachandra and Balabhadrapatruni Ramani play the key roles.
