The regular shooting of India’s first historical stereoscopic 3d movie, 'Rudrama devi' starring Anushka in the title role is going to start on April 18th. Gunasekhar will direct and produce this movie under Guna team works banner. The film has already got huge expectations.

Gunasekhar said, " The film, in which Anushka plays the title role and Rana Daggubati plays the Chalukya Veerabhadra role, will star many famous actors. Ganapathi Deva Chakravarthi role, which has got so much importance, will be played by Rebel Star Krishnam Raju and Prakash Raju will be seen in Mahamanthri Sivadevayya role. Ajay will be seen as Prasadaditya, Ravu Babu as Naga devudu, Nathalia Kaur as Annambika, Hamsanandani as Madhanika and Prabha as Somambha. Brahmanandham, M.S.Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Vennela Kishore and Brahmaji will play the key roles. All the actors are inspired with the story and acting in this film. Thota Tharani sir has been erecting a huge arena set at Gopanapalli, where we have had erected the Charminar set for 'Okkadu'. We will shoot in this set from 18th of April continuously. We are going to erect 11 huge sets which show the grandeur of Kakatiyas".
