Mandira Bedi acts in a Tamil movie

Actress-model Mandira Bedi hogged the limelight by serving as a anchor in recently concluded World Cup cricket telecast in a private Sports Channel. Appointed the brand ambassador of the Indian Women's cricket team, Mandira continued to enthrall movie-buffs, courtesy here recent release Shadi Ki Ladoo.

Though she was tipped to act in a Tamil movie opposite Parthiban, instead she is now playing an important role in Manmadhan, a Tamil movie starring Silambarasan and Jothika.

Produced by Krishnakanth of Indian Theatre Productions, the movie is being directed by a debutant A J Murugan. She plays a psychiatrist in the movie. Though her role is brief, it is sure to leave an impact among the audience, says Murugan.
