Sruthi Haasan has been playing a special role in NTR's upcoming movie under the direction of Harish Shankar. Dil Raju produces the film.

Speaking about it, she says," The Bhagya lakshmi character I had played in Gabbar singh has turned out to be a big turning point in my career and I have bagged a good name with it. I have been very thankful to Harish sir for giving me that character .And now, I have been doing a special role in NTR's forthcoming film in the direction of Harish Shankar".

"Actually I would have done a movie with NTR previously. But due to the clash of dates, it has not worked out. The special character I have been doing in this movie has got so much importance and Harish Shankar thought that I would better fit in that character and has approached me. So, I agreed to do that role. I am being thought to be the second heroine of the movie. But I have been only doing a special role which has got importance", she said.

She added that she has been acting in Raviteja's 'Balupu' and Ram Charan's 'Yevadu' and that two other are in discussions.

She is confident that these movies will become a plus to her career.
