Nothing catapulted her to stardom more than Gabbar Singh, which was released last May. After being seen as an unlucky mascot by industrywallahs, she eventually turned out to be one of the most sought after actresses. After the film’s success, she bagged roles opposite Charan, NTR and Ravi Teja.

Yevadu, Harish’s Shankar’s film with NTR and Balupu are her forthcoming projects in Telugu.

The young and vibrant Shruti Hassan is celebrating her birthday today, the 28th of January. She turns twenty seven on this day. Shruti Hassan made her debut in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and has fans nationwide for her performance in films. She is currently working on two Telugu projects and one Hindi film. Her last Tamil film was '3' with Dhanush and she hasn't signed up for any films in Kollywood yet.

Not just in acting, but Shruti Hassan is a good dancer and has paved a path for herself in singing too. To be expected from her, she comes from a very talented and artistic family indeed.
