It is well-known that dynamic director Gunasekhar is producing the first stereoscope 3D film of India 'Rudramadevi' with Anushka in the title role on the banner of Guna Team Works and the film team had been for Germany for a 3D test shoot. After the successful completion of the test shoot, the 'Rudramadevi' team had returned to Warangal.

Speaking on the occasion, director cum producer Gunasekhar says, 'We successfully completed the 3D test shoot for about a week in Germany. The result had come out very satisfactorily. We felt very happy. We returned from Germany to Warangal. We had visited Warangal Fort, Thousand pillars temple, Ramappa temple and other such constructions along with our art director Padmasri Thota Tarani. We held discussions with the historians about the construction of those days. Our art director Thota Tarani is reconstructing those sets for the film and those sketches are getting ready. We are planning to explain the magnificence of the 13th century on the screen. This is the first historical stereoscopic 3D movie in the entire India.'

Anushka is playing the title role, while for this film music is being provided by Maestro Illayaraja, art is by Padmasri Thota Tarani, cinematography is by Ajay Vincent, editing is by Srikara Prasad, action is by Ram-Laxman, Kamal Kannal is the VFX Superviser (Prasad EFX), Neeta Lulla is the costumes designer (Jodha Akbar fame), while story, screenplay, direction and production are by Gunasekhar.
