Actress Manorama who has been away from acting due to health reasons is set to make a comeback. The veteran actress is currently working on Singam 2 after taking a break. Now, sources reveal that she will be playing a role in a Shahrukh-Deepika starrer in Chennai Express.
Chennai Express is the adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's 2 States in Hindi. It portrays Shahrukh Khan as the hero from Delhi and Deepika Padukone as his pair from Chennai. Manorama will be playing the aunt of Deepika, and will be making a return to Bollywood after 37 long years before which she appeared in Kunwara Baap.
The movie is expected to be a sizzler, especially coming after a superhit novel that is widely known across India for its humour and romance. It would be great to see Manorama return to cinema after her recent break.
