Chemistry, starring Sri Ram and Amita Rao, is directed by Vachaspathi. He says that the film tells the story of a youngster (the hero) who thinks that girls are problematic which need solutions like the problems of mathematics. "A girl enters into the life of our hero, who has always grappled with maths. He soon realizes that just as mathematical problems have to be solved using formulae, so also the problems brought about as a result of a girl's presence in his life have to be solved similarly. He invents the formulae on his own. The story revolves around the heroine. The shooting has been done. Post-production is currently on. The songs have come out very well. The audio will be released soon," the director said.

Lyricist Kittu Vissapragada said that the film would be like a wholesome meal.

Actor Sri Ram thanks the director and producer for giving newcomers an opportunity. The shooting is going on well in Hyderabad and Vizag. This is a fresh love story. Viswanath's music is very good, he added.
