Rana Daggubati's KVJ’s trailer has only increased the curiosity around the film. If the trailer is anything to go by, Rana seems to have performed the most difficult role thus far since he debuted in 2009 with Leader. The crucial 12-minutes-long song where he essays the roles of the likes of Arjuna and Ghatotkacha gave him immense satisfaction.

"The day I shot for the song, I felt I had done so much. When I talked about it to a friend of mine, he asked, 'Who are Arjuna and Ghatotkacha?' This actually sapped my curiosity. Not just him, there are many of our generation who do not know anything about Ramayanam and Mahabharatha. In such circumstances, it is risky to make mythological movies", he says.

Making hits is not important to him. "Is there any guarantee that each film will make profits for sure? Chiranjeevi garu acted in 149 films but only 40 might have become super hits. Those films made him a big star. I do not make calculations before giving the nod. How much I can learn is of paramountcy to me", he reflects.
