Shivaji and Ritu Kaur are coming together in 'Welcome', a full-on comedy directed by Manohar Chimmani and produced by SS Krishna and DR Reddy. The film has music by Swaraj Hedide of Modati Cinema and Dongala Bandi fame.

The makers say that the film is going to be different from Shivaji's previous flicks. Starring more than 18 comedians, the film has small-time actors like Hungama Jyothi, Allari Subhashini, Maheshwari, AVS, Chitram Seenu, Tagubothu Ramesh, RK, Dhanraj, Prithviraj, Surya and others.

Cinematography is by Jagadish Naidu and art work is by Vijaya Krishna. Fights are by Nandu.

Director Manohar says that Shivaji's acting is apt. "Heroine"s role has equal importance in the story," he says. The producer says that all the five songs and the BG score are very good.
