A Telugu daily, which is a strong supporter of the Telangana movement has flayed Puri Jagannadh, the director of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu.

In a front-page editorialized piece, it said that Puri, who had earlier said that he had plans to make a film on late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, indirectly and subtly glorified the deceased leader and simultaneously, took pot shots at the Telangana movement. It said that Puri used the film to show off his loyalty or liking towards the late YSR.

It said that Prakash Raj's Telugu Talli movement was used as a camouflage to belittle a movement that has its roots in the genuine aspirations of "4 crore Telanganites".
