It's obvious that the performance of Jiiva and Nani would come in for comparison, since they are acting in the Tamil and Telugu versions respectively of Gautham Vasudev Menon's next ('Neethane En Ponvasantham' in Tamil and 'Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu' in Telugu).

However, the director is not ready to compare the two actors. "No comparisons please. Both Jiiva and Nani have performed differently within the same structure. It's been a huge learning for me," says Gautham.

He adds: "Simple film, beautiful music, very good actors, Jiiva, Nani and Samantha. Adithya too actually. Great experience for me. Loved every minute.”

Heaping laurels on Nani, Gautham says, "With Nani, what struck me was his confidence. Revelation- Nani, the most confident actor and it is a pleasure to work with you. Will do a film with him anytime given the chance."
