IndiaGlitz extend warm wishes to Director A.R.Murugadoss, who is celebrating his birthday today. The director, who has made a name for himself during the past decade in Indian cinemas turns 39 as of today and has accomplished himself as one of the top names to reckon with in the film industry. The director is said to be kind and known for being professional during shoots. He is currently working with actor Vijay in 'Thupaki', which is hugely anticipated in Tamil Nadu.
A peek into Murugadoss' life will tell you that he was born at Kallakurichi and went on to complete his education in Bishop Heber College, Trichy. His passion for arts began early as he continually participated in cultural events and competitions, including mimic shows and stage performances. However, it was his interest in writing short stories that landed him an opportunity to work with veteran writer, Kalaimani. After a cameo appearance and notably working in the film 'Poochoodava', he became an assistant director to S.J.Suryah for the movies 'Vaali' and 'Khushi', both of which attained great success. With the recommendation of S.J.Suryah, he successfully bagged the opportunity to make 'Dheena' with Ajith, which went on to become a roaring hit. Successive hits with 'Ramana' and 'Ghajini' were enough to stamp his authority in Tamil cinema and by the time the latter was remade in Hindi, Murugadoss scaled greater heights by directing Aamir Khan and A.R.Rahman. Apart from his glittering career as a director, the man is also into producing and has penned a deal with Fox Star Studios. We hope to see more of his good work on the silver screen in the coming years.
