When it comes to 'Aiyyaa', one can obviously see that Rani Mukherjee has really let her hair down for the film.
Since that is anyways a good enough reason for her fans to rejoice, Rani, who made her debut with 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat' (1997), is pretty much happy with the response that the promo of 'Aiyyaa' has garnered so far.
In fact such has been the impact created by the promo that for many out there, the film could well be released sooner than later.
"Well, I will definitely take this as a compliment", smiles Rani, "You know what, when the news came in that the film was being pre-poned by two weeks, we were a little scared that whether we would have lesser promotion than what the film desired.
However ever since the promo released and the news started coming in that it has managed to make a very good impact, I have been reassured."
This pretty much stems from the fact that 'Dreamum Wakeupum' is en route to be a chartbuster and has set the stage for the film. With promos doing the trick, Rani promises that there would be many more fun elements that would be exposed in weeks leading to the release of 'Aiyyaa'.
"There is a song each that we plan to release every week so that audience has something new to know about the film", continues Rani, "Other than the songs, there are also quite a few dialogue promos that have been finalised. They would add further flavour to the film.
There is a lot waiting to be unveiled."
Directed by Sachin Kundalkar who is making his Bollywood debut with the film, 'Aiyyaa' also marks the arrival of Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran.
With music by Amit Trivedi and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the film releases all over on 12th October.
