Not many know that the music director of Sudigadu, Sri Vasanth, is the grandson of yesteryear musician Sathyam. After the audio of this film became a hit, he has landed two big offers.

"I was always interested in music even as a child. I learnt harmonium from my mother and later, joined a music college. Not content, I went to Chennai to learn the key-board. I worked as an apprentice under Sri, Mani Sharma, Harris Jayaraj, RP Patnaik and others," he recounts.

In fact, Vasanth never publicly talked about his relation with late Sathyam until Sudigaadu happened. "He gave music for 650 films. As his grandson, I want to prove myself by giving melodies," he says.

Bheemineni was a bit apprehensive to rope him in, but he stunned his director. Even his mother had never congratulated him before Sudigaadu.
