While for the audience 'Raaz 3' has turned out to be a 'paisa vasool' affair, even for the producers the film has turned out to be one.

Though in terms of production and scale, this is one of Emraan's costliest solo hero films in recent times as well as Bhatts' costliest outing, when compared to some of the other biggies that have done huge business this year, 'Raaz 3' has cost way lesser.

To substantiate the claim, Mahesh Bhatt even went on Twitter to state - Raaz 3 will be the first adult film ever which is poised to enter the 100 cr club. It cost 1/3 of all the other 100 cr films (sic).

No wonder, while the makers are minting money, Emraan is plain happy to have his second big success this year after 'Jannat 2'.

As for economics of the film though, he says in a guarded tone, "Well, I don't really know what's the budget of the film; that's something only Mukesh Bhatt can talk about.

Moreover I don't even know that when compared to a regular movie, how much of additional cost comes in due to 3D. Having said that 'Raaz 3' was pretty much indoors so that resulted in further controlled costs."

While sources claim that the film was made at a reasonable budget of 25 crores, the film's bumper opening followed by good appreciation has only resulted in 'Raaz 3' being added to the kitty of many hits that 2012 has enjoyed so far.
