In his many years of writing, Bhaktha Suresh, the story-writer of Shirdi Sai, has written for 16 serials and made 686 documentaries. "There have been 16 films on Baba till now. But I wanted to tell something new through my film, so I studied several books on Him and watched all the earlier films. When I first told this story to Raghavendra Rao garu, he had tears in his eyes. I never felt so happy even when I won 9 Nandi awards for my works. I owe the success to Nagarjuna, KRR and Maheshwara Reddy (producer)," he said.

Suresh is planning a film on Mahabharatha, titled as 'Maharathi,' and another story on Santh Kabir Das is also being written. Plans are also on to write a story titled 'Venkateshwara Swamy Vaibhavam.'

Paruchuri Gopalakrishna says, "All the Baba films made earlier began with the scene where the missing horse (Bijili) is searched by a character. This is the only film which begins with telling about Baba's childhood. We have written a historical film for the first time in our career. Only KRR can make a film like this."
