Sridevi has surprised her two daughters- Jhanvi and Kushi- by gifting them two puppies. Named Cocoa and Waffle, the pets have added more colour to the lives of the young girls.

According to sources, Sridevi gifted the puppies to her daughters for standing as a pillar of support in her attempt to make a comeback with 'English Vinglish'.

"This is for the first time Sridevi stayed away from her daughters, since she had to shoot for English Vinglish. The two girls took good care of themselves in the absence of their mother. Sridevi was moved," sources said.

Directed by Gauri Shinde, 'English Vinglish' is produced by Balki. Ajith has done a cameo in the Tamil version of the movie, titled 'Aaangliam Vaangilam'. The guest appearance is made by Amitabh Bachchan in the Hindi version.
