Actor Mohan Babu has shared a close relationship with the family of Ramoji Rao for long. The untimely and sad death of Suman, Ramoji's son and actor-writer-creative director associated with ETV, has deeply saddened the veteran actor.

"Suman's untimely passing away is paining me a lot. He won name as a good person and as a good actor on television. He was very dear to me. I have a great relationship with Ramoji Rao garu's family. Praying that Suman's soul rests in peace, I pray God to give the bereaved family members all the strength in this hour of personal loss," he said in a statement.

Associated with many popular tv soaps, Suman had been a household name for nearly 15 years. He was one of the first writers to have scripted straight serials, which outshined serials of ETV's biggest rival channel in the early days. Towards the last leg of the 2000s, he made news by taking the differences with his father to the public domain.
