After Eega, it is the turn of Sudigaadu to earn Rajini's accolades. Because the popularity of the film easily spread to some quarters of Tamil Nadu, the Superstar reportedly evinced interest to watch the film.

Following this, the makers arranged a special screening of the film for Rajini at the latter's residence in Chennai. The actor, as claimed by the makers, found the film very entertaining from the word go.

He appreciated Allari Naresh and the director (Bheemineni Srinivas).

Sudigaadu, an adaptation of Tamila Padam, did a good business in the first week. What is surprising is that it has caught the attention of someone like Rajini.
