After playing a muscular role in which he sported a heroic moustache in Nandeeswarudu, Tarak Ratna is back with a bang. He is playing Lord Yama in his first ever socio-fantasy flick, which is yet to be titled.

Venkat Pampana is the director. To be launched on the Vijaya Dasami day, the film is produced by Nandan Goud. "We are happy to be making a different kind of socio-fantasy film with Tarak. The story has come out really well. Three popular heroines will play the roles of Rambha, Urvasi and Menaka. The music will be scored by Nenu Naa Rakshasi fame Rehman."

Ajay, Rajeev, Murali Mohan, Sharath Babu, Sumalatha, Tanikella, Venu Madhav, 'Telangana' Shakuntala, Venkat, 'Tagubothu' Ramesh, Prabhas Sreenu and others are part of the cast. Cinematography is by KK Hanumanth. Editing is by Nandamuri Hari.
