It seems the delay in Dhanush's Hindi debut, Raanjhnaa, has brought about a delay in the filming of Sottavalakutty as well.

Raanjhnaa's last schedule that was supposed to go on floors a month back has kick started only now in Benaras. This last schedule is for about 40 days and will be shot with Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush, while she plays a student; he plays a Hindi speaking Brahmin boy in the film.

Meanwhile, since the 40-day schedule went on floors only now, Dhanush's Sottavalakutty that was supposed to kick start in September will now begin only in November, as per reports.

Sottavalakutty will bring together National Award winning talents, director Sargunam of Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame and Dhanush. Kathiresan is producing this flick. Dhanush will be seen as a youth who makes bronze lamps for a living in Kumbakonam and he falls in love with a dentist in the film.
