For an actress who was hailed as the most beautiful by none other than K Raghavendra Rao, BO stardom has ironically been most elusive. She has hogged the limelight thanks to some controversies involving Tamil actor Mahath and Manchu Manoj, but her films themselves have been in news for the wrong reasons.

Does she do soul-searching after a film fails? No. Instead, she takes up a film only when she is convinced that it is good. Something, the story or her character, "should touch my heart." "Who decides the success or failure of a film? What I like about something, you may not like it. I don't ask questions such as 'What is the result?' 'Are the audience watching it?' 'Has the producer got his money back?' and so on," she says matter-of-factly.

Shadow and Gundello Godari are her forthcoming releases.
