Rajinikanth's stupendous hit 'Sivaji' will be re-releasing in 3D come September end. The trailer will be launched on August 13. The film will however undergo major editing and more than 48 minutes of content will be edited out to make it crisper.

The 3D trailer will be unveiled on August 13 at Prasad Lab Studios. AVM Productions is currently busy with making the film suitable for 3D audience. The film that released in 2007 is a political thriller helmed by Shankar and has music by AR Rahman. While Rajinikanth and Shriya Saran play the lead roles, Suman plays the villain and Vivek provides comic relief. KV Anand handled the cinematography.

The film is still considered as one of the biggest grossers in Indian cinema.
