This is what half information can do. While a section of media has tried ripping off the poster design of 'Heroine', let us bring to you the complete truth. Yes, there are obvious similarities for the Kareena poster but Madhur Bhandarkar and his team can defend themselves on one of the count at least.

The poster which had Aishwarya Rai's plastered is not a rip off of a so called Hollywood film called 'Cover Story'. In fact it was the latter which flicked the entire design of 'Heroine'.

'Cover Story' is actually a low budget Bollywood film which was supposed to feature a one film old starlet called Sheena Nayar. The film was launched a year back but never saw light of the day.

Ironically, the film's theme was also the same as 'Heroine' as it was based on the story of a successful film actress (played by Sheena). Not just that as Jackie Shroff was also roped in to play the part of a veteran journalist.

"So now you know who copied whom", says a source attached to 'Heroine', "About time people get their facts right before raising a finger. Just because a celebrity is involved, there can't be accusations floating around."

He doesn't comment much on the new poster design involving Kareena in a Mariah Carey pose. Well, perhaps we could let that one go and allow Team Heroine to enjoy the pleasure of winning half the battle at least.
