It was a belated debut for Sumanth Ashwin in MS Raju's Tuneega Tuneega. He was to do the remake of Mungaru Male, which was remade into Telugu as Vaana. But his father had second thoughts about the timing and so deferred his son's first on-screen appearance for a good many years.

Does Ashwin make a mark in TT? The one thing that is being talked about by those who have watched him, is, of course, his dancing abilities. He showed gusto and energy in the dances, though the debutante should learn to seem easy in the future.

Acting wise, Sumanth had enough scope for emoting. Did he succeed in living up to the challenge? He showed a patent lack of intensity. For a debutante, it was a difficult role though.

In this age, it must be added that terrific steps are not being seen as something extraordinary. Aadi danced well in Prema Kavali and Lovely. Sudhir Babu was dashing too in Shiva Manusulo Shruthi. In this context, Sumanth Ashwin may just have not offered anything awesomely new.
