Bad luck worked overtime for Samantha as the actress had to opt out of two dream projects- Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' and Shankar's I- due to skin problems which required immediate treatment.

And now, the 'Bana Kathadi' and 'Naan Ee' actress is all set to bounce back with renewed vim and vigour.

"Yes, I know there has been a lot of speculation about me being missing in action... My low immune system kicked off a series of repetitive infections and made everything go topsy turvy," she wrote on her microblogging page.

Samantha, who is eagerly expecting the release of Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Neethanae En Ponvasantham', added: "But I can safely say I am much better and will join shoot shortly."

It is said that she has been signed by Prabhu Deva for the Hindi remake of Telugu hit 'Nuvvostanante Nenodattana', which was remade in Tamil as 'Unakkum Enakkum'.
