Maa Ooru is yet another film in this era of tribal exploitation, that talks about the travails and tribulations of this section. Directed by Kandi Ramachandra Reddy, the film was unveiled yesterday by actor Suman, who, after watching the movie, praised the vision of the director.

The film, by depicting the tribal woes, drives home the pertinence of their welfare. The lack of physical and social infrastructure in areas dominated by the tribals is portrayed by the film.

The film is music-directed by Sri Venkat.
