The audio release function of Sakuni was held today in Hyderabad. It was attended by the film's main cast and crew, besides Venkatesh, Vinayak and others. The first copy of this GV Prakash musical was released by Venkatesh, who handed over to Vinayak. Karthi expressed happiness over the fact that Sakuni will release simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. "I am happy to have acted with Kota Srinivasa Rao and Prakash Raj. GV has given a tremendous music. I have dubbed for myself," he said. Kota praised Karthi's performance in the movie.

Vinayak said that Shankar Dayal (director) was his associate (Dil). "I wish that Sakuni will be a bigger hit than my first film. Karthi has acquired the image of a home-grown star. I wish the film all the best." Lyricist Sahithi, who had written all the songs of Yamudu and Na Peru Shiva, said that the melodies from the album had a depth.

Venkatesh surprised the audience by saying that he watches Karthi's films with interest. "He chooses very different roles. When I first heard the title, it appeared a bit crazy. Karthi is good at selecting the right scripts."
