The first CD of HanuRaghavapudi’sAndalaRakshasi was released by D Ramanaidu, who handed it over to MM Keeravani. The event was held in Hyderabad on Saturday evening. Released on Vel records, the event was attended also by SS Rajamouli, GunnamGangaraju and others.

The 'Movie Moghul' said that the film looked completely new and hoped that it will become a big hit. Rajamouli said that SaiKorrapati (producer) was the closest friend he had in the industry. "Sai is very passionate about cinema. I, who was always a mass director, was made to make films for family audience by him," the director said.

Rajamouli said that he was surprised when he watched a short film made by Hanu five years ago. "He is a very good technician. He will become a big director for sure." GunnamGangaraju appreciated the makers for making the film without squandering away money. "Everybody is saying that this is a short film. In fact, this will become a trend-setter film," the maverick writer-director asserted.

The film is slated to release in July.
