Ram Charan must be a happy man these days. Even as he has been juggling three films (Zanjeer, Yevadu and Vinayak's untitled flick) on again, off again, Racha has been spinning money in good number of centres. The film is not a blockbuster as it has been made out by some but it has definitely earned profits for the stakeholders.

The film has done especially well in the Ceded territory, while Vizag and Nizam are the other important bastions of the film.

Despite an outdated story, what has worked for Racha is the presence of Cherry, who is cast in a well-etched role, and Mani Sharma's music. The makers have chosen Kurnool as the town where a 50-days function will be held. Since the fans there were disappointed after the last minute withdrawal in case of the audio release function, Charan is learnt to have suggested the place.
