The much-admired Young Tiger turned a new leaf when he got married to the Narne girl last year. This year, as he transforms into Baadshah, he is sure to surprise us with his comic timing, helped in no mean measure by his director. In Dammu, he tamed the villain by pushing his arms back. With a frown look and his moustache twirled up, he looked terrific.

That is NTR for you. He can dance well and emote well. Daunting and fearless on screen since Aadi, he rose to stardom with Rajamouli’s Simhadri many years ago. It was in Yama Donga that he portrayed a difficult role with characteristic maturity. The 29-year-old superstar's uniqueness lies in the fact that he makes a great dancer and forceful teller of dialogues.

What is expected of him is innovation in comedy and diversification of films.

He did make a statement about his political plans in Dammu. Having campaigned for the party founded by his grand-father, he knows what it takes to make a point in public meetings. Are we going to see a new avatar of him in the coming days?

IndiaGlitz wishes the would-be 'Baadshah' of Tollywood a happy birthday.
