Samantha is unarguably the most happening Telugu film actress. Described by Mahesh as the "most hardworking actress I have ever worked with," this diva has done all but a handful of films, yet, she commands awe, besides a big amount as remuneration. As she celebrates her birthday today, Sexy Sam, as she is fondly called, believes in learning at every opportunity. She signed Eega expecting nothing but a hike in her stature, but she has learnt lessons useful for the rest of her life from Rajamouli while working for the project.

"I have changed a lot after coming into films. There have been days when I am totally immersed in work throughout the day. That doesn't tire me. It is because I love the work I do," she once said.

This year, a lot is going to happen on the professional front for her. If she has Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Autonagar Surya in Telugu, the 25-year old has a tri-lingual, directed by Gautham Menon, that is definitely more predisposed to thrust her into a different trajectory altogether.
