Two debutant producers from construction field Shekar Gowda and Narayanaswamy – building houses and mansions for last 12 years have invested on building a family entertainer cinema this time starring Prajwal Devaraj and Ananya of 'Nadodigal and Engeyom Eppodhum'.

Debut director Jaya Kannan working in the camp of Agathyan and Alexander has made the script three years ago. He says the film 'Gokula Krishna' is a jolly first half and interesting in the second half. The shooting has been held in Agra, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Goa and other locations.

Senior actor, producer and director Jai Jagadish felt dejected because the clean family entertainers are getting good audience. 'Gokula Krishna' is one such film but family audiences are withdrawing away from theatres. It is only entertainer films that can stay today in theatres he feels.

Prajwal Devaraj plays the protagonist who comes from foreign country after 15 years and values the friendship more than the family bondage. From Ananya his eyes open for family affection.

Cameraman Vinod Bharathi was in mood to talk looking at the television cameras was checked when he went out of control. According to him two times actor Prajwal saved the camera while shooting with presence of mind. This is the fourth film of Vinod Bharathi as cameraman.

Danny in stunts, choreographers Ramu and Aravind were present at the media briefing. SA Rajakumar has composed five songs for the film.
