IG had earlier reported that Jiiva will be seen in Chiyaan Vikram's 'David', a trilingual in Hindi – Tamil – Telugu. The film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar of 'Shaitan' fame and Jiiva agreed to do the film only a day back.

However, Jiiva will only be seen in the Tamil – Telugu versions of the film. Vikram plays protagonist in all the three versions.

He posted on his microblogging page, "Yes I’ve signed David with Bejoy Nambiar. Agreed to do the film just a day ago. Another multi-starrer after Nanban. I'm just doing the Tamil – Telugu versions of David, Vikram sir will be seen in all three versions. I’m thoroughly excited about my role, will be kinda different!"

'David' that's taking fast shape is wielded by Bejoy Nambiar, a former assistant of Mani Ratnam. His 'Shaitan' fetched him much critical acclaim and rave reviews.

Jiiva currently has trilingual 'Neethanae En Ponvasantham’ and superman flick 'Mugamoodi' with UTV Motion Pictures. The going is definitely great for this young talent who will be seen in varied genres this year.
