Dhanush opens up at '3' audio launch in Hyd

When the ‘Kolaveri’ sensation Dhanush spoke at the audio launch function of ‘3’ (Telugu version) in Hyderabad, he took the opportunity to attribute his popularity and status to the craziest song the world witnessed in 2011.

Natti Kumar owns the dubbed release rights of the film in Telugu. The first CD was unveiled by D Ramanaidu, who handed it over to Rana. Ramanaidu said that he was associated with Kasthuri Raja’s (Dhanush’s father) family and expressed his pride in Dhanush’s success.

“We did not put much effort into this song. There was no strategy. When everybody liked it, our joy knew no bounds,” Dhanush said adding that Anirudh and Aishwarya’s contribution to the output was immense.

‘3’ will grace screens come March 30.
