Bollywood's Ekta Kapoor is set to make her foray into Kollywood. If one has to go by what sources suggest, she will soon produce a Tamil movie, which will be helmed by Ram of 'Katradhu Thamizh' fame.

"Ekta was planning to step into Tamil cinema and she was waiting for a good script. Recently, Ram narrated a script to her and she was thoroughly impressed by it. Other details are being worked out," say sources.

It is said that the film would feature a popular actor as the protagonist. "It will be set on human emotions, an area in which Ram is an expert. An official announcement will be made once get things get final shape."

Ram is currently busy with 'Thanga Meengal', in which he plays the lead role besides wielding the megaphone. Padmapriya is doing a crucial role in the film, which is being produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
