Having swept Salman Khan off his feet with Dhinka Chika, Devi Sri Prasad may well take Bollywood by storm with his music. Ram Charan has not worked with DSP in Telugu (Yevadu is still in the making), but he is keen on enlisting him for Zanjeer.

Charan is apparently impressed with DSP's ability to belt out foot-tapping tunes by mixing folksy, massy as well as tuneful influences spanning genres. He is almost finalized, but there has been no official announcement from director Apporva Lakhia. It is said that Devi’s choice will depend on the director's vision.

Heroes recommending musician's name is not new in Tollywood, nor is Bollywood a stranger to it. That said it is the first time that a Telugu star is making his foray in Hindi and making a recommendation for a very crucial department. Will Cherry have his way?
