Rumors were rife that Jai who shares features that resemble the Ilayathalapathy will be seen as the latter’s younger brother in ‘Thupaki’. However, the director, AR Murugadoss, has taken to his microblogging page to squash these as mere rumors.

“Jai is not acting in Thupaki”, says the director, who further adds, “There is no brother role in the film!”
