Socio-fantasy films have had a unique appeal for the Telugu audience. More so, films telling the escapades and adventures of Yama and Chitraguptha. G Vijaykumar Goud, the producer of Yamaho Yama, is banking on this.

He is currently making this socio-fantasy with Sairam Shankar and Parvathi Milton in the lead. Who is playing the character of Yama? Sri Hari. Directed by Jitendar Y, the film has a curious setting. The film's third schedule will be launched from Jan. 30. The film is going to be shot in Kurnool and Adoni and the film will be shot in a special set to be mounted in Hyderabad for the purpose. Sri Hari, Sairam Shankar, Parvathi Milton and Master Bharath will take part in this schedule.

Unlike the previous films on the two mythological characters, this comedy is set in America. "The acts of Yama and Chitraguptha in the US will be a major attraction of the film. Films with them as the leads have had appeal for both the mass and class audiences. Our film is falls under the same category." Mahathi lends the music. The film is being written by Veligonda Srinivas.

While the audio will be released in April, the film will be released on May 11.
