With no opposition from biggies of non Kannada films (it happened for Ko Ko Koli Kothi and Sidlingu on 13th January 2012) super star Upendra, Ragini and Sada in lead roles with three more big names added to it – director of pretty good success P Vasu, topnotch music director Gurukiran and successful producer Krishna Prajwal raise the expectations of this 'Arakshaka' in which Upendra has variety of performance to treat his fans.

Director P Vasu after 'Aptha Mithra and Aptha Rakshaka' is once again with 'A' letter title and he has made very interesting screenplay of a cop aspirant subject. P Vasu and Upendra are enough to draw good attendance to the theatres.

The film 'Arakshaka' (meaning cop) is releasing in over 80 theatres. The film shot in Kerala, Mysore, Channapatna and Bengaluru has five songs. Three songs were shot in Indonesia. The song written and sung by Upendra Thu Nan Makla Gandasra Neevu…has become a favorite song in the chart.

Krishna Prajwal of Udayaravi Films finding big success from 'Aptha Rakshaka' 200th film of Dr Vishnuvardhana is extremely happy for his Rs.7 crore venture 'Arakshaka'. PKH Doss is the cameraman. Suresh Urs editing, Venu art direction, Different Danny dance composition are other credits.

Seetha, Sayyaji Shindhe, Adhi Lokesh, Sharan and others are in the cast.
