Even as two of Ravi Teja's films – namely, Don Seenu and Vikramarkudu – are being remade in Hindi, plans are on to remake his last Sankranthi release, Mirapakai. The film may be directed by Harish Shankar himself. Ajay Devgn, who had a shot in the form of the remake of Suriya's Singham, will reprise Ravi Teja's role in the Hindi version.

If Harish Shankar directs the movie, it is clear that it will go on the floors only in the second half of the year, because the director is engaged with Gabbar Singh. Moreover, it is doubtful if a fledgling director, who has had just one hit in Telugu, will be given the opportunity to helm a mega project in Hindi.

Mirapakai, which is an action-comedy, was an average hit in Telugu. Given this condition, Ajay might not risk going in for the same director, some observers in Bollywood opine.

While his colleague Akshay Kumar is reprising Ravi Teja's Vikramarkudu role in Hindi (titled as Rowdhy Rathore), Ajay is being cast in a more or less similarly comedic-cum-punchy role.
