Devaraya will surprise you because Srikanth’s character is sketched in such a way that it feels totally new. The film’s genre is socio-fantasy, having graphics work imparted on a footage of over 23 minutes. Currently shooting for the action episodes (under the action direction of Master Ravi Varma), the film is progressing at a brisk pace. Except for three songs, the shooting will be complete by this month-end.

Srikanth is playing the title role in this film, which is being directed by Nani Krishna, produced by Kiran Jakkamshetty. The first schedule was shot from Sept. 19-29 at Nacharam in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The graphic-significant shoot was filmed for one historical episode in the movie.

Chakri's music is a raison d' etre of the movie. While Nani Krishna is lending the story also, the screenplay is by Ravireddy Mallu. Lyrics are by Karunakar and dialogues by Veerababu Basina.
