Its love over everything else for Genelia D'Souza... Even as one waits to see an official announcement around the exact date when she and Riteish Deshmukh would tie the knot, at least on-screen they are all set to unite this February. While 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' is now confirmed as her next theatrical release, her long pending flick 'It's My Life' has been conveniently put on the backburner all over again.

"Yes, though 'It's My Life' was earlier supposed to arrive this month followed by 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' next month, the dice has rolled in the favour of the latter. In fact promos of her romcom that would feature her along with real life partner Riteish are already all over the television channels as well as internet. On the other hand there is no news about the Harman Baweja starrer except the fact that it won't arrive anytime soon," informs a trade insider.

This pretty much translates into the fact that this Hindi remake of the Telugu superhit 'Bommarillu' would have to wait for some more time at the least before it hits the screen. Completed almost two years ago, it has been pending release for quite some time since the makers (producer Sanjay Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee) are looking at the best release time period possible to bring it on screen.

Says a source, "The film is complete and it is just a matter of locking the promotional strategy along with the release date. Anyways, for Genelia this isn't something new. Her 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa' had taken a long time release as well and see how big a success that it eventually turned out to be. Reports of 'It's My Life' are quite good as well and it is a matter of time that everything is sorted out."

We hope so as well.
